Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

This very nice acoustic was purchased at The String Shoppe in Columbus, OH for $239.00. Great selection and service! I've now bought 3 guitars from them.

I started playing acoustic when I was waaay back in 8th grade. Got into electric guitar a year ago and now wanted to be able to do the "unplugged" thing. I looked at several models and this one stood out; solid top, mother of pearl inlays, cool rosette, and sharp sunburst finish. I like Dean's inventiveness in their designs. It's also got Grover tuners. A lot of bang for the buck here.

There's nothing I don't like about it. Very nice ringing sound. Nice neck shape and very easy to play.

Very well put together guitar. No flaws at all were visible at the time of purchase.

I would buy another Dean in a heartbeat; acoustic or electric. This guitar can project some volume. When I told my wife I was going to buy an acoustic she was like "Oh, good. I like the sound of those..." Over the distorted sounds of my electrics. I brought the Dean, hit a D chord and WOW, that thing just rang out!
